Festive Fruity Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Reserve 1 Tbsp.
  3. dry gelatin mix.
  4. Combine remaining dry gelatin mix with flour and baking powder.
  5. Beat butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy.
  6. Add granulated sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
  7. Blend in egg and vanilla.
  8. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
  9. Shape dough into 30 (1-inch) balls.
  10. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets.
  11. Flatten with bottom of clean glass.
  12. Bake 8 to 10 min.
  13. or until edges are lightly browned.
  14. Cool on baking sheets 1 min.
  15. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  16. Whisk powdered sugar, reserved gelatin mix and milk until blended; spread onto cookies.
  17. Top with sprinkles.
