Tomato Gravy Recipe

  1. Combine tomatoes, bacon drippings and salt in skillet and cook, covered over medium heat till tomatoes are soft.
  2. Pulverize with a fork and let cook another 3 min.
  3. Meanwhile, combine cool water and flour in a shake, cover and shake vigorously; pour over tomatoes, stirring constantly till thick.
  4. If thinner gravy is desired, add in more water.
  5. Serve over warm biscuit halves.
  6. Serves 6.
