Effortless Knife-Free Bean Sprout Okonomiyaki

  1. Rinse bean sprouts and drain lightly.
  2. Put into a microwave-safe plate and press down with your hands to break the bean sprouts into small pieces.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes at 500 W.
  4. If you're adding a large amount of other ingredients, adjust amount of eggs, katakuriko, and condiments.

  6. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the bean sprouts.
  7. Flatten evenly, then cover the pan to pan-fry for 1 minute over medium low heat.
