Coconut Bars
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (can add 1 cup crumbs if crust is too thin)
- 1 can 14oz. Eagle sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips morsels
- 1 1/3 cup coconut flakes
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350 (325 for glass dish) and coat 13x9 baking pan with no stick cooking spray.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs (can use already made crumbs or put graham crackers in ziplock bag and crush with your hands) and melted butter and press into bottom of pan.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture.
- Can use spatula to help spread it.
- Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and chopped walnuts.
- Press down firmly with a fork evenly over mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes in oven or until coconut flakes are lightly brown.
- Let it cool then cut into small squares/bars.
- Store covered at room temperature.
