Aunt T'S String Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar Prego spaghetti sauce
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella
- 8 oz. spaghetti hot, cooked and drained
- 1/3 c. Romano cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. Ricotta cheese
- Cook beef, onion and green pepper in a large skillet over medium high heat until meat is brown, stirring to separate meat. Drain fat.
- Stir in sauces; mix well.
- Combine spaghetti, Romano cheese, eggs and butter in large bow; mix well.
- Place in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Spread Ricotta cheese over top.
- Pour sauce mixture over Ricotta cheese.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over top. Bake in pre-heated oven 350u0b0 until cheese melts, approximately 20 minutes.
