Asian Broth Recipe
- 6 c. fat-skimmed chicken broth
- 1/2 c. thinly-sliced green onions
- 6 slc fresh ginger - (quarter size)
- 1 x dry warm red chilies - (to 2)
- 2 x garlic cloves peeled, pressed
- In a 2 1/2- to 3-qt pan over high heat, bring to a boil chicken broth, green onions, ginger, red chilies, and garlic.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 to 20 min.
- With a slotted spoon, lift out and throw away ginger and chilies.
- This recipe yields 6 c..
- Comments: If making up to 1 day ahead, cover and chill.
- Yield: 6 c.
