Fresh Muesli with Apple and Almonds

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Spread oats and almonds evenly on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake until almonds are golden brown, stirring occasionally, 7 to 8 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a plate, and let cool completely.
  5. (The cereal can be stored for up to 1 week in an airtight container.)
  6. In a small bowl, stir together 3/4 cup toasted oat mixture, the yogurt, and milk.
  7. Cover and refrigerate until oats are soft, about 1 hour, or up to overnight.
  8. To serve, spoon muesli into two bowls.
  9. Dividing evenly, top with apple and remaining toasted oat mixture; drizzle with honey.
