Sausages in Beer
- 1 cup beer
- 1/2 lb. kielbasa sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/2 lb. Sweet Italian sausage sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/2 lb. Hot Italian sausage sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/2 lb. bockwurst sausage sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
- 1 sm. red onion, minced
- In a wok pan (that's what I use when tailgating), over medium high heat cook the Italian sausage (both Sweet & Hot) for about 5 minutes until lightly brown; drain.
- Add the rest of the sausages and the onion and cook for about 5 more minutes.
- Turn the heat down to low and add the beer and the hot sauce.
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes stirring every couple of minutes.
- Pour it into a chafing dish or serve it in the wok pan.
