Savoy Cabbage and Lemon Slaw

  1. Combine cabbage and basil in large bowl.
  2. Whisk buttermilk, mayonnaise, grated onion, lemon juice, lemon peel and thyme in small bowl to blend.
  3. Add dressing to cabbage mixture; toss to coat.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. (Can be prepared 3 hours ahead.
  6. Cover; refrigerate.)
