Herbed Goat Cheese Tartines
- 8 slices country bread
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3 tablespoons (approximately) olive oil
- 6 to 8 ounces soft, fresh goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh herbs of choice
- Lightly toast bread slices, and let cool.
- Rub surface of bread with raw garlic clove.
- Brush olive oil over each slice.
- Spread goat cheese evenly over bread slices, and garnish with minced herbs.
