Bolognese Sauce And Penne Pasta Recipe
- 8 ounce grnd sirloin
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce - (8 ounce)
- 1/3 c. minced carrot
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. red wine
- 1 tsp dry Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 c. warm cooked penne pasta Minced fresh parsley
- Heat medium saucepan over medium heat till warm.
- Add in beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir 5 to 7 min, breaking up meat with spoon, till beef is browned.
- Add in tomato sauce, carrot, water, wine and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 15 min.
- Serve sauce over pasta.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- This recipe yields 2 servings.
