  1. In large saucepan or possibly Dutch oven, brown half the meat; pour off fat.
  2. Remove meat.
  3. Brown remaining meat; pour off all fat except 2 Tbsps.
  4. Add in onion, garlic; cook and stir till tender.
  5. Add in meat and remaining ingredients except flour, cornmeal and hot water.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer covered 2 hrs.
  8. Stir together flour and cornmeal; add in hot water.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Stir into chili mix.
  11. Cook covered 20 min longer.
  12. Serve warm.
  13. Makes 2 qts.
  14. Winners.
