Carrot Pie
- 1 cup raw carrot, finely grated, cooked and mashed
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon ginger
- 12 tablespoon butter
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 12 cups milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- Prepare pastry and line a pie plate.
- Mix together all ingredients.
- Pour into unbaked shell.
- Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour, or until done.
- Top with whipped cream.
