Dorothy's Ribbons Recipe

  1. Mix egg yolks and whole egg with lowfat sour cream and brandy.
  2. Add in a little flour at a time till all flour is used and easy to handle.
  3. If too soft, add in just a little more flour to handle.
  4. Mix into a ball, put in plastic bag and chill for 1 hour.
  5. Then on a board cut in 4.
  6. Roll out one at a time, about 12x14 inches.
  7. Then cut in strips like ribbons, make a bow.
  8. If it stretches too much, cut in half.
  9. Half fill frying pan with vegetable oil.
  10. Fry ribbons quickly, brown both sides.
  11. Drain on brown paper, add in powdered sugar.
