Dorothy's Ribbons Recipe
- 4 c. flour
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 3 tbsp. lowfat sour cream
- 1 ounce. brandy
- Mix egg yolks and whole egg with lowfat sour cream and brandy.
- Add in a little flour at a time till all flour is used and easy to handle.
- If too soft, add in just a little more flour to handle.
- Mix into a ball, put in plastic bag and chill for 1 hour.
- Then on a board cut in 4.
- Roll out one at a time, about 12x14 inches.
- Then cut in strips like ribbons, make a bow.
- If it stretches too much, cut in half.
- Half fill frying pan with vegetable oil.
- Fry ribbons quickly, brown both sides.
- Drain on brown paper, add in powdered sugar.
