Shrimp Jambalaya Recipe

  1. Place salt pork, ham and sausage in pan over low heat; fry till crisp.
  2. Add in onion, garlic and bell pepper; saute/fry till soft.
  3. Add in tomatoes, red pepper pod, parsley, and bay leaf.
  4. Simmer and stir slowly till thick.
  5. Add in rice, water and salt.
  6. Cover pot, simmer slowly about 10 min.
  7. Add in shrimp.
  8. Cook again slowly over low fire till rice is tender.
