Cabbage Casserole

  1. Shred cabbage.
  2. Cook 5-8 minutes in salted water.
  3. Keep the cabbage crisp.
  4. Mix butter with bread crumbs and set aside.
  5. Drain cabbage.
  6. Layer half the cabbage in a 2 quart baking dish.
  7. Cover with half the white sauce and half the cheese.
  8. Repeat layer.
  9. Top with bread crumbs.
  10. Bake 15-20 minutes at 300.
