Treacle Pork Chops
- 2 pork chops (bone-in)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 fennel bulb (Chopped)
- 2 -4 tablespoons treacle
- Heat Olive Oil in a non-stick frying pan till warm add the chopped fennel and fry to infuse the oil with the flavor.
- Remove the fennel and set aside.
- Add the pork chops and sear both sides.
- Then turn down the heat to low and put 1-2 Tbs.
- of the Treacle on pork chop.
- Flip and add the same amount of Treacle on this side.
- Cover and let simmer about 20-30 minutes until pork chops are done.
- (If you don't have a cover for your pan a piece of tin foil will do.
- ).
- When the pork chops are done remove to rest on a plate, turn the heat up to med-high and add the fennel.
- Cook down to a sauce, stirring constantly.
- Serve over the pork chops immediately.
