Farm House Recipe Daikon and Chikuwa Sweet and Spicy Stir-Fry

  1. Cut the daikon without peeling.
  2. First, cut it into 5mm rounds, then again into 5mm sticks.
  3. Cut the chikuwa vertically in half.
  4. Then, cut diagonally into match sticks.
  5. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over high heat, then add the daikon and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the chikuwa and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  7. Add the "A" ingredients and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and it's done.
  9. Remember to cook every step over high heat.
  10. Daikon is great when it's a bit crispy.
