Beer-Braised BBQ Short Ribs

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Brown ribs on all sides, in batches, in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  3. Remove ribs from skillet; reserving 1 Tbsp.
  4. drippings in skillet.
  5. Add onions to skillet; cook 5 min.
  6. or until slightly softened.
  7. Add remaining ingredients; stir gently to combine.
  8. Deglaze while lightly scraping bottom of pan.
  9. Place ribs in large roasting pan; top with onion mixture.
  10. Seal tightly with foil.
  11. Bake, covered, 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until ribs are tender.
  12. Remove ribs from pan.
  13. Skim fat from liquid in pan; discard.
  14. Return ribs to sauce; keep warm until ready to serve.
