Pepper Bundles

  1. Cut bell peppers in half through stem.
  2. Remove all veins and seeds from peppers.
  3. Stuff each pepper with 3/4 cup shredded cabbage.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning salt on each stuffed pepper.
  5. Next, place 1 pat of butter on each pepper.
  6. Cut Vidalia or sweet onion into 8 equal slices.
  7. Place onion slice on each stuffed pepper.
  8. Top each onion with a pat of butter and another 1/4 teaspoon of seasoned salt.
  9. Place each stuffed pepper on a double sheet of aluminum foil.
  10. Wrap each pepper individually in foil and seal tight.
  11. Place foil bundles on a charcoal grill and cook at 400F for 45 minutes.
  12. Remove and serve hot.
