Oreo Dust Chocolate Covered Pretzels

  1. In a double boiler melt Dark Chocolate and Shortening.
  2. (low heat).
  3. While melting layout wax or parchment paper on counter.
  4. Crush Oreo Cookies to a small almost powder with a few small chunks.
  5. (I use a baggie).
  6. When chocolate is melted remove from heat.
  7. Coat each pretzel and place on wax paper.
  8. (sometimes I double coat.
  9. Place in fridge for a few minutes before you do).
  10. Sprinkle Oreo Cookie on top of pretzels and place in fridge for about 5 minutes.
  11. Remove.
  12. Melt White Chocolate and with a fork splatter over Oreo Cookie coating.
  13. Place back in fridge for about 15 minutes.
