Glogg

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cinnamon sticks, cloves, and water.
  2. Cover.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat.
  5. Simmer about 30 minutes.
  6. Strain.
  7. Discard spices.
  8. In a 4-quart pan, combine spiced water with remaining ingredients, except orange slices.
  9. Heat over medium-low heat.
  10. DON'T boil.
  11. Serve in a punch bowl or from copper stock pot.
  12. Garnish top of punch with slices.
