Smothered Sausage & Potatoes
- 1 packages Italian Sausage (mild)
- 5 medium Russet Potatoes
- 1/2 medium Purple onion
- 1 can Black Beans
- 1 packages Pioneer Brown Gravy
- 1 as needed Sea Salt
- 1 as needed Pepper
- 1 as needed Garlic Powder
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1 large Roasting Pan w/lid
- 1 cup Cold water
- Cover Roasting pot w/aluminum Foil
- Pour Black Beans in pot
- Cut up Italian Sausage in slices.
- Put in pot
- Slice Purple Onion then cut in quarters.
- Put in pot
- Wash potatoes.
- Leave skin on.
- Cut one in half then cut those 2 halves in 5-6 pieces.
- Put potatoes in pot
- Add pepper, sea salt, garlic powder and olive oil to pot.
- Stir w/big spoon.
- Then put lid on and put in oven.
- Cook for 30-45 minutes.
- Depending on oven and how you like your potatoes.
