Smoke Flavored Roast Chicken

  1. Mix soy sauce, sherry, smoke flavoring, ginger juice, Hoisin sauce and salt.
  2. Place chicken and mixture in a plastic bag.
  3. Tie opening at end of bag (I used ziploc).
  4. Shake to spread sauce evenly over chicken.
  5. Keep chicken in plastic bag 4 hours (refrigerated).
  6. Turn bag 2 or 3 times.
  7. ( I put the bag in a pan in case of leakage).
  8. Pre-heat oven to 350*.
  9. Bake chicken for 1 1/2 hours.
  10. Cool chicken 30 minutes.
  11. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  12. Serve cold.
