Goat Cheese Stuffed Phyllo Dough

  1. Create egg wash: in a small bowl, whisk together the egg with the milk.
  2. Lay the sheets of phyllo dough on top of each other.
  3. Cut in half vertically, then horizontally, creating four squares.
  4. Sprinkle some goat cheese, rosemary, chopped apple, and spinach onto one half of each square.
  5. Brush the outside of the square with the egg wash, then fold the other half on top of the ingredients to completely cover the stuffing.
  6. Brush again with egg wash to ensure the dough is sealed.
  7. Repeat the process for each square.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 12 minutes, or until dough is brown and crispy.
  9. These make great appetizers!
