My Kids Rave About This Chinjao Rosu (Stir Fried Beef and Peppers with Oyster Sauce)
- 250 grams Beef
- 2 small Cooked bamboo shoots in water
- 3 medium Green pepper
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1/2 tsp Weipa
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 Katakuriko
- 1 Sesame oil
- Finely cut the beef and sprinkle with a little bit of sake (not listed) and salt.
- Let rest and then coat with katakuriko.
- Julienne the bamboo shoots and green peppers.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan.
- Add the meat, and fry until it changes colour.
- Remove the meat from the pan.
- In the same pan, add a little more oil, and cook the vegetables from step 2.
- When they have cooked through, add the meat back into the pan and cook the meat and vegetables together.
- Add the ingredients to the pan.
- Heat until the sauce is hot and all the ingredients are thoroughly cooked.
