Parmesan Bleu Fettuccine Alfredo
- 12 cup butter
- 1 34 cups heavy cream
- 12 teaspoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon white pepper (use black for substitute)
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon minced red onion
- 6 ounces parmesan cheese
- 2 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- 1 lb fettuccine
- 1 dash lime juice (optional)
- Heat butter in saucepan on low.
- When melted, add basil, onion, pepper, and garlic.
- SLOWLY add the heavy cream.
- when mixed, turn heat to medium.
- Stir occasionally for five minutes.
- Add a dash of lime.
- Add small amount of bleu cheese and parmesan.
- Stir until melted and mixed.
- Repeat every 3 minutes until no cheese is left.
- Let sauce thicken.
- Serve over fettuccine.
