Cranberry Walnut Biscotti

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder & salt.
  3. In a small bowl whisk eggs & vanilla.
  4. Add dry ing.
  5. Just until moistened.Fold in walnuts & cranberries.
  6. ( dough will be sticky)
  7. Divide dough in half.
  8. On a greased baking sheet.
  9. With lightly floured hands.
  10. Shape into 10 x2-1/2" retangle.
  11. Bake.
  12. 20-25 min.
  13. Until golden brown.
  14. Remove from oven.
  15. Let cool 10 min.
  16. Transfer to cutting board .
  17. Cut diagonally into 1" slices.
  18. Place cut side down on baking sheet.
  19. Bake 8-10 min.
  20. Flip to other side .
  21. Bake 8-10 min .
  22. Again.
  23. Let cool.
  24. In microwave , melt chocolate & shortening.
  25. Stir till smooth.
  26. Drizzle over cut biscotti.
  27. Let chocolate firm up.
  28. Store in air tighr container.
