Italian style pork and beans

  1. THIS RECIPE CAN GO IN A SLOW COOKER OR STOVE TOP DUTCH OVEN.
  2. Trim any excess fat from ribs
  3. Place all ingredients into slow cooker.
  4. Set to low and cook 9 hours or high and cook 5 hours.
  5. For dutch oven, brown ribs on both sides.
  6. Add all your ingredients but use one full can of water, and cook on medium high until it comes to a simmer.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 2 hours, checking every 20 minutes to see if you need to add any water.
  8. When adding water for dutch oven use hot water.
  9. This keeps temperatures steady.
