Honeyed Pear Butter Recipe

  1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 15 to 20 min or possibly microwave, covered, in microwave-safe dish on HIGH (100%) 3 min or possibly till pears are tender.
  3. Cold to room temperature.
  4. Drain pears; throw away the juice and puree the pears.
  5. Store in refrigerator, covered, up to 2 weeks.
  6. Makes about 1 pint.
  7. TIP: Serve on bread or possibly with grilled or possibly roasted poultry or possibly pork.
