Starchwork's Steak Stew

  1. Brown meat in butter and add onion and brown.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer till meat is tender about 2 hours.
  3. If necessary thicken liquid with a bit of cornstarch mixed with water.
  4. Serve over hot buttered noodles or rice.
