Dog Biscuits
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. beef instant granulas
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup hot beef
- chicken broth
- Preheat oven to 250F.
- In a medium bowl.
- Combine flours and cornmeal milk powder, sugar, garlic powder and beef granules.
- Stir together to mix.
- Add egg and cheeses.
- Add the hot broth.
- Adding just enough so that the dough can be worked with.
- The dough should not be sticky.
- Knead dough on a slightly floured surface for 10 turns.
- Let dough rest for 5 minutes.
- Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut with dog bone cutter.
- Bake for 1-1/2 hours rotating tray several times.
- Cool on a wire rack.
