B-B-Q Roasted Venison
- 5 lb. deer
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- apple cider
- 1 tsp. red pepper
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 onion
- 3 sticks celery
- 3 pieces garlic
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. mustard
- sprinkle with black pepper
- 1/2 stick butter
- Soak deer in
- water
- enough
- to cover meat overnight to which 1/2 of
- vinegar
- is
- added,
- pour off water.
- Add enough water to cook,
- addtepper,
- onion,
- celery, garlic and other half of vinegar.
- Cook
- until well done.
- Mix last of ingredients, add water enough
- to thin sauce, simmer slowly in oven 1 hour.
