Wayne's Double W/W Texas Chili Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 pound grnd round
- 1 lg. red pepper, minced
- 1 lg. green pepper, minced
- 3 jalapeno peppers, minced fine (optional)
- 1 med. to lg. onion, minced
- 3 med. potatoes, cut in 1 inch squares
- 1 (2 pound 8 1/2 ounce.) can Hanover Redskin kidney beans
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce.) can Campbell's warm chili beans
- 2 teaspoon chili pwdr, more or possibly less to taste
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans whole tomatoes
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Brown beef, onion, and peppers in large pot; drain.
- Add in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil.
- Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hrs.
