Scalloped Potatoes Au Gratin Recipe

  1. Note: Quantities are not specific in this recipe, so vary according to your own taste and feel free to improvise with what you have.
  2. Slice potatoes and arrange in the bottom of an ovenproof casserole or possibly baking dish.
  3. Top with onion slices, salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle with a thin layer of shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. In a sauce pan, hot 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup and mix with 1 pint of French onion chip dip.
  6. Pour the mix over potatoes.
  7. If soup mix becomes too thick, add in some lowfat milk to thin it down.
  8. Sprinkle Wondra flour over the top and add in a couple of pats of butter.
  9. Repeat the first step, adding layers till dish is full.
  10. Bake at 350
