Lucille's Bar B Que Spare Ribs Recipe
- 3-5 lbs. country or possibly slab pork ribs
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp. horseradish mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon powdered oregano
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. grated onion
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tbsp. seasoning salt
- Mix sauce ingredients.
- For Grill: Cook sauce down and cold.
- Parboil ribs for 15 min.
- Drain.
- Using brush, cover ribs with sauce and place on grill.
- Brush with sauce several times till ribs are done.
- For Oven: Trim excess fat from ribs.
- Parboil, if you like.
- Place a layer of sauce (uncooked) in baking pan.
- Arrange ribs and pour remainder of sauce over ribs.
- Cover pan with foil and bake 3 to 3 1/2 hrs at 325 degrees.
