Onion Bread

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  3. Mix all ingredients except reserved onions; beat vigorously 30 seconds.
  4. Spread into casserole.
  5. Sprinkle with reserved onions; press lightly into dough.
  6. Bake 60-65 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  7. Loosen edge from side of casserole; remove from casserole.
  8. Cool on wire rack about 20 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve warm.
