Almond Nougat Crispies Recipe

• 3 x White almond / honey nougat Candy bars-3 ounce each Such as toblerone
• 5 c. Crisp rice cereal
• 1 1/2 c. Sliced almonds toasted
• 3/4 c. Unsalted butter
• 4 c. Miniature marshmallows

2. Butter an 8-inch square baking pan and set aside.
3. Chop the nougat bars finely.
4. Toss cereal and nuts in bowl to mix.

6. Heat butter in large saucepan.
7. Add in marshmallows; cook, stirring constantly with wooden spoon, till melted.
8. Add in minced nougat, stirring till melted.
9. Remove from heat.
10. Add in cereal mix; toss till well coated.
11. 3.
12. Using buttered spatula, press mix proportionately into prepared pan.
13. Cut into squares when cold.
