Ham and Pea Tetrazzini Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Break pasta in half and cook according to package directions, omitting salt.
  3. Meanwhile melt 1 Tbsp.
  4. butter in skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook onions until softened.
  6. Add peas and pepper; gently cook for 3 min.
  7. Remove skillet from heat.
  8. Stir in ham and 1/4 cup cheese; set aside.
  9. Heat remaining butter in medium saucepan; stir in flour and gradually add milk.
  10. Cook on medium heat 3 to 5 min.
  11. or until thickened.
  12. Combine pasta, ham mixture and sauce.
  13. Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish.
  14. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  15. Bake 20 min.
  16. or until heated through and cheese is golden brown.
