Bloomin' Baked Apple
- 2 baking apples
- 4 Kraft Caramels
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. Philadelphia Cinnamon Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Product
- 2 tsp. milk
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cut 1/4-inch-thick slice off top of each apple; discard.
- Cut out apple cores; discard.
- Starting at top of each apple, make vertical cut (about 1/4 inch from peel) around flesh of apple, being careful to not cut through to bottom of apple.
- Repeat to make second parallel cut, about 1/4 inch closer to centre of apple from first cut.
- Turn apples over.
- Make vertical cut down into each apple, being careful to not cut all the way through apple.
- Repeat to make additional vertical cuts in apple, allowing about 1/4 inch between cuts.
- Place apples in individual baking dishes.
- Add 2 caramels to centre of each apple.
- Combine next 3 ingredients; spoon over apples.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- or until apples are tender.
- Cool slightly.
- Mix cream cheese product and milk until blended; spoon over warm apples just before serving.
