Chikuwa and Cabbage Stir-Fried in Mayonnaise and Ponzu
- 1 packages Chikuwa
- 5 Cabbage leaves
- 1 squirt around Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Ponzu
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil (for stir frying)
- 1 Sesame seeds
- 1 Red chili pepper (optional)
- To prepare: Diagonally slice the chikuwa and shred the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
- Over high heat, add a touch of sesame oil, then add the chikuwa.
- I recommend sesame oil.
- Brown them as shown in the photo.
- The surface should become crispy.
- Add the cabbage and stir-fry over medium heat, taking care not to burn it.
- Stir-fry until the cabbage wilts.
- Add a small amount of water.
- Once the cabbage is tender, add the mayonnaise and ponzu.
- I recommend this much mayonnaise.
- Allow the flavors to blend, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish, and it's ready!
- I recommend sprinkling on sesame seeds and red chili peppers.
