Chikuwa and Cabbage Stir-Fried in Mayonnaise and Ponzu

  1. To prepare: Diagonally slice the chikuwa and shred the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Over high heat, add a touch of sesame oil, then add the chikuwa.
  3. I recommend sesame oil.
  4. Brown them as shown in the photo.
  5. The surface should become crispy.
  6. Add the cabbage and stir-fry over medium heat, taking care not to burn it.
  7. Stir-fry until the cabbage wilts.
  8. Add a small amount of water.
  9. Once the cabbage is tender, add the mayonnaise and ponzu.
  10. I recommend this much mayonnaise.
  11. Allow the flavors to blend, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Transfer to a serving dish, and it's ready!
  13. I recommend sprinkling on sesame seeds and red chili peppers.
