Koch Kase
- 12 ounces, weight Cottage Cheese
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 6 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 13 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- Salt To Taste
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix all ingredients well, cover it with plastic wrap and let stand in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Then put it into a heavy pan and simmer over low heat stirring often until thoroughly blended, well heated and smooth in consistency.
- This will take about 20-30 minutes.
- It helps to use a whisk once the cheese starts to melt to get out the lumps.
- Be careful not to let it burn on the bottom.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
