Green Rice
- 5 cups cooked rice
- 1 package frozen chopped broccoli
- 14-12 cup butter
- 1 large onion
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 12 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
- salt and pepper
- Have rice ready.
- Cook broccoli as directed; drain and set aside.
- Saute onions, celery and bell pepper in butter until done, but not brown.
- Mix everything.
- Bake uncovered in greased casserole at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Garnish with strips of pimento.
