Dried Fruit Custard Pie Recipe

  1. Spread cooked dry fruit in crust.
  2. Make egg custard.
  3. Pour pour egg custard over fruit.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees till custard is set.
  5. Whip 3 egg whites till they will peak, adding 6 Tbsp.
  6. sugar and 1/4 tsp.
  7. cream of tartar.
  8. Pile lightly on pie.
  9. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 to 20 min or possibly till lightly browned.
