Japanese Fruit Pie
- 1 cube margarine melted, cooled
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dates chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked
- Combine margarine, sugar, eggs, vinegar and vanilla in bowl.
- Mix well.
- Stir in dates, coconut and nuts.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake in 300 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until brown.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
