Southwest Turkey Burgers
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 12 cup finely chopped onion
- 4 ounces can chopped black olives
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 teaspoons chili seasoning mix or 2 -3 teaspoons taco seasoning
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 6 monterey jack cheese (1-ounce slices)
- 12 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 14 cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
- Gently combine turkey, onion, olives, ketchup, chili powder, seasoning, and salt.
- Shape into 12 patties.
- Fold cheese into quarters; place one slice of cheese on six of the patties.
- Top with remaining patties and seal edges.
- Grill over medium-high heat 4-5 minutes on each side or until done.
- Serve with sauce.
