Juicy & Creamy Baked Apple Bread Pudding
- 2 Apple (Jonathan apples if you have them)
- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 1 Egg
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 dash Cinnamon powder
- 10 grams Butter
- 1 Haagen Dazs ice cream (vanilla)
- 1 as much (to taste) Maple syrup
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
- Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces and add them to the bowl, letting them soak in the liquid.
- Cut off the top of the apple (to use as a lid).
- Using a knife or spoon, scoop out the inside of the apple.
- Remove the core and cut the fruit into small pieces.
- Add the apple pieces to the bowl from step 1.
- Using a toothpick or a fork, prick holes all over the surface of the apple.
- Fill the apple from step 3 with the filling from step 1.
- Top with butter and cover with the apple lid.
- Place in a heatproof dish and bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
- When done baking, top with ice cream and drizzle on some maple syrup.
- Enjoy hot with the cold ice cream.
