Baked Buffalo Chicken Tenders
- 1/4 cups White Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, Divided Use
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder, Divided Use
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, Divided
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt, Divided
- 4 whole Chicken Breast Halves, Cut Into Tender-like Strips
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1 Tablespoon Buffalo Sauce (such As Texas Pete's) Plus Extra For Serving
- 1- 1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- In a large Ziploc bag, place flour, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
- Add chicken tenders, seal bag and shake bag to coat.
- In a separate shallow bowl, add eggs and buffalo sauce.
- In another shallow bowl add panko and the remaining seasonings.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with foil.
- Place a cooling rack on top of the foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Bread tenders by dipping each one in egg mixture, then in the panko mixture.
- Place on cooling rack.
- Repeat until all tenders are coated.
- Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes (depending on size of strips).
- Flip the tenders with tongs and spray lightly again.
- Bake an additional 8-10 minutes, until cooked through.
- Serve with more buffalo sauce and enjoy.
