Bacon Wrapped Dove
- 1 box Toothpicks
- 24 whole Breasted Out Dove
- 1 whole Small Onion, Cut Into Strips
- 24 whole Tabasco Peppers (the Peppers In Vinegar )
- 12 strips Bacon
- 2 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Cracked Black Pepper
- Soak toothpicks in hot water.
- Clean 24 dove.
- Salt and Pepper dove breast.
- Place onion strip and Tabasco pepper in breast cavity.
- Wrap with bacon and secure with water soaked toothpick.
- (If you want to make some pepper-less for the kids, you can differentiate with two toothpicks instead of one.)
- Cook over medium to medium high heat.
- Baste with your favorite barbecue sauce the last 10 minutes.
- Remove from flame when bacon is crisp.
