Creamed Chicken & Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 350F; grease the bottom and sides of an 11x7-inch baking pan.
  2. Heat butter in skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and saute until tender.
  3. Combine onion, chicken, soup, sour cream, milk and pimento; mix well and pour into prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and top with 3/4 cup of cheese.
  6. Arrange biscuits in a single layer over top of casserole.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake in oven until biscuits are golden brown and sauce is bubbly; approximately 20 minutes longer.
